REASON FOR LACK OF PRODUCTIVITY:

No publications have resulted from these observations to date. EIS failed to observe the impulsive phase of a flare during any of the runs, which was the core goal of this HOP. This would have provided temperature, density and Doppler information on the flaring chromosphere in conjunction with simultaneous optical/UV observations from the ground.
